Quarterly Action Item: Executing Your 2026 Tech Roadmap & Section 179 Tax Savings

If you’ve completed your annual vCIO strategic meeting with us, your practice already has a custom technology roadmap in place. Now that we are in Q4, it’s time to pull out that plan and execute the final milestones before the calendar turns.

Key Focus Areas for Finalizing Your Q4 Plan:

    • Capitalize on Section 179 Tax Savings: Any workstation replacements, network upgrades, or server migrations mapped out in your vCIO plan must be ordered, delivered, and placed into service by December 31st to qualify for full Section 179 tax deductions this calendar year. Please consult your tax professional for more details.
    • Lock In Year-End Installation Windows: Operatory upgrades scheduled for doctor vacation windows or year-end office closures require advance scheduling. Finalizing equipment orders now ensures hardware arrives on time and installations occur without interrupting patient care.
    • Finalize Windows Server 2016 Migration Schedules: For practices whose vCIO roadmap includes replacing an aging Windows Server 2016 environment, confirming your project timeline now ensures a smooth, non-disruptive migration ahead of the January support deadline.

Next Step for Practice Leaders:

If you are unsure where your practice stands on its 2026 technology roadmap, or need a quick refresher on the recommendations established during your annual vCIO strategy session, connect directly with your dedicated Account Manager to review your file and finalize your Q4 timeline.
